Helicopter based forest clearing for power lines are done with a saw that is suspended on a bar beneath the helicopter. The pilots are specially trained to navigate with the “bubble-door”.

Helimatic offers two types of saws to the customers. The “Uppercut S-10” works vertically and “Horizont” works horizontally.

The “Uppercut S-10” is mainly used with voltages of 10-20 kV, i.e. distribution lines.

The “Horizont” is mostly used with higher voltages of 70-400 kV.
