Wind deflector

Our wind deflector is a so called Bubble Door for MD 500. The protection, which is of the highest quality, is mounted using existing attachments and follows the outer contours of the door. This design provides optimal wind deflection and maximum space for viewing while using vertical reference^₁.

The wind deflector can of course also be used when performing other types of missions, such as docking missions etc.

1) Vertical reference means that the pilot has direct visual contact with the tool, the target object and the ground. The pilot can safely make judgments regarding distances and ground conditions without the need of assistance from ground based personnel.
